Return Information

This page describes our polices regarding returns, refunds, exchanges and other misc details associated with doing business with First Choice Software. We want you to be happy with your purchase and look to us for your CD-ROM software needs. Read the following information carefully before making your purchase. Returns are expensive and time consuming for all parties concerned. We will try to provide you with enough information to make an informed purchase. Most software publishers maintain their own website that contains extensive information about their programs. Make sure to visit them if you have any questions. Also, feel free to email us with your questions before you buy. 

Research your purchase!  Be sure to know what kind of computer system you have. Many of the new game programs require a Pentium system to run them. Before you buy a program, be sure you have the system requirements to run it. 

The main things to know are:

• Operating System (DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, MAC, ...etc)
• Processor Type (486, Pentium, Pentium II, MAC)
• Memory Requirements
• Hard Drive requirements

If you do not know these things, look in your owners manual or call the store you purchased your computer from. In general, games programs require a higher end system. Also, some of the very sophisticated graphic programs (Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Pagemaker ....etc) will require a Pentium computer to run them well. Reference titles and Kids programs usually do not require a high end system. Remember to always look at the system requirements for each title. If there is any doubt in you mind please email us.  Returns will only be accepted for defective products

You must return the product to us undamaged AND in perfect condition, unregistered, and with all manuals and enclosures that shipped with the product. If it is a Retail Box product, you must return it in a protective cardboard box or other similar shipping carton like the one we used to ship it to you originally. Damaged and/or incomplete products are subject to restocking fees of from 10% to 50%. In cases of major damage or abuse, the product may be refused.

To avoid costly returns, check the System Requirements for each title. Be sure you have at least all of the system requirements before ordering. If there are any questions, please contact us before you order. 

You must obtain an RMA number prior to returning the product. Email speedysoftebay@hotmail.com with Your Name, the title of the product, and the specific defect you have encountered. Products returned without an RMA number will not be accepted and a credit will not be issued.

If we have sent you an incorrect product by mistake, we will replace it with the correct product at no cost to you. Call us or Email speedysoftebay@hotmail.com for a replacement shipment. We will include a prepaid return mailer in your replacement shipment that you can use to return the incorrect product.
